Injury Management & Returning to Work
We are one of the only dedicated Workplace Rehabilitation Providers accredited with WorkCover WA servicing regional communities locally. Our primary focus is helping people employed in rural and remote locations, who sustain an injury either at work or home, to return to productive home and work lives.
Hard work is the foundation stone of many regional communities and we understand how important work is to individuals living in small towns. We also know that the latest evidence suggests that the longer an injured worker remains off work, the less likely they are to make a full return to their pre-injury role.
We believe our job is to help injured workers, their employers, and treating medical professionals to create a safe and sustainable pathway for injured workers to achieve their workplace rehabilitation goal and regain their life as a member of the community.
Appreciating the complex landscape of non-work and work related injuries we pride ourselves on proactive communication and timely delivery of services. We aim to ensure that your safe journey to health and productivity starts as soon as possible.
Return to Work Services
➢ Local Early Intervention Services
Understanding the latest scientific evidence, we know that getting injured workers back into work as soon as possible is best for everyone. We offer early intervention support services that are tailored to suit each case. Our services enable the assessment of risks and challenges and subsequently lead to development of a realistic and timely return to work pathway. Our rapid turnaround and streamlined approach mean the injured worker, their employer, and their doctor receive important return to work information and expert advice at the earliest opportunity.
➢ Same Employer Services
Statistically, we know that the best rehabilitation outcomes are achieved when we help you as an injured worker return to your pre-injury employer. We know that this is even more important for our clients living in both regional and remote communities, where alternative employment opportunities may be scarce.
Our needs assessment utilises only proven and validated biopsychosocial tools, so we are confident any recommendations and interventions we plan with you will meet your requirements, and help you return to work as quickly and safely as possible. We believe that in our partnership with you and the key stakeholders in your situation that the goals we set together need to be specific, time-bound, and achievable. That way we know you will achieve your overall return to work goal.
Our tertiary qualified Consultants are highly skilled communicators and enjoy liaising with treating health professionals, employers, insurers and injured workers. Our team’s deep knowledge of the varying types of injury and the best practice recommendations for optimal recovery means you get the best possible care. We work closely with key stakeholders to align everyone’s expectations regarding the return to work journey and overall goal and to help minimise the detrimental impact of having sustained an injury in the first instance.
➢ New Employer Services
We recognise in the unique context of regional redeployment that there is no universal solution when returning injured workers to the workforce. Instead, our approach to New Employer services are customised to focus on the specific needs and requirements of the individual, addressing identified barriers and building transferable skills to maximise an injured worker’s employment prospects.
Being a locally driven service provider we have first-hand knowledge of the regional labour market in WA. We leverage our networks and connections to facilitate employment prospects for clients that are meaningful, safe and durable within local communities. With our experienced team, you are in safe hands with professionals who ‘get it’ in regards to regional redeployment.
